From Russia to racism.

August 22, 2017

The Democrats are upset.  President Trump didn’t give the MSM the operational battle plans for the next phase in the war for Afghanistan last night.

Time to fall back on other narratives.

With the Russian collusion theory showing more connection to the DNC than the Trump campaign,  the anti-American left has moved on to tarring everyone who votes Republican with the sticky brush of racism.

According to that paragon of levelheadedness, Howard Dean, if you vote GOP next year, you are supporting a racist, which of course by inference means you are a racist.

Ah, the famous left-wing guilt trip voter intimidation tactic.

This isn’t so much about trying to convert GOP voters to the Democratic party as it is to intimidate GOP voters into staying home in 2018.

If the reaction of most people is any indication, that’s going to work just about as well in 2018 as it did in 2016.

Even Democrats are tired of it, with one person saying that he’s getting tired of being lumped in with “those batty left wingers like that (expletive) Missouri senator.”

One man suggests that the left is giving Trump’s supporters the perfect counter strategy.

His idea for a slogan?

“If you vote for (name of candidate) you are voting to support cop-killers.”

He mentions the video of a so-called freedom of expression Boston Antifa/Occupy marcher spitting in the face of a cop and calling the officer a race traitor. He notes that here are dozens of video clips of paid leftist mercenaries calling for the death of cops that would work beautifully with that meme.

With this constant attack on all things American and white,  the left seemingly has only one objective, and that’s the destruction of democracy in general and the United States in particular.

Actually, it’s probably just as much about falling revenues as it is political principles.

So far, most Americans aren’t buying into the race war cover story any more than they did into the Russian collusion theory. They see it for what it is, and either ignore it or work to discredit it.

That doesn’t mean they are oblivious to the motivations behind it, or the dangers of letting it succeed.

It seems that the one thing the election did accomplish was to strengthen the impression that all politicians are essentially liars-for-profit.

People that once voted for Barack Obama  are now saying out loud that his presidency may have been the biggest political scam ever perpetrated on the American people.

The biggest draw for them in 2016 was that candidate Trump wasn’t a career politician.

That doesn’t mean they are in love with the results of Donald Trump’s presidency so far as regards the so-called big ticket items, but they still see him as by far the lesser of two evils.

No one on Main Street believes all this propaganda and upheaval is about race, economic equality or democracy at this point, and they are well aware that complacency cost them dearly in the 2012 election.

In fact, if President Trump has the ability to play his cards right, the so-called worst week of his presidency could turn out to be the beginning of the end for the left.
