Tax cut passes. Now what?

December 20, 2017

And so it is done. Finally.

Predictably, Dems are frothing at the mouth, and it remains to be seen if they will try to take it out on the nation by screwing up the spending bill legislation to keep paying the bills.

The smart money says no, but given how irrational they have been the rest of this year, who knows?

The rest of us would just like this legislative year to be OVER, perhaps in the hopes that we will not have to listen to Schumer and Pelosi and their clones again for at least a few blessed days.

Make no mistake, this entire year has been about (a) punishing the deplorables, and (b) sending up enough smoke to keep the left’s misdeeds obfuscated.

Indeed, many were hoping the President would officially sign the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act today, because that would mean any dirty deeds in the works would be effective this year.

It sounds like he is aware of that, since the official signing is being advertised for January.

In the meantime, there are still a few days left to catch the 2017 political performances.

Oh, joy. We can’t wait.
