9/11 memories.

September 11, 2018

There a few events  that cause people to remember exactly what they were doing when the event happened

For me it was the assassination of JFK, and the events of 9/11.

It was a little past seven a.m. here and I was making coffee when a neighbor called and asked if I had the TV on. I didn’t, and when I turned it on, it was to see the first tower in flames. I was watching when the second plane hit.

It sticks in my craw that even one of the people responsible, directly or indirectly, and their spawn (ISIS, Al  Qaeda, and the rest) still lives.

These were and are radical Islamic terrorists. Acknowledging that is not racism, it’s just fact.

The attack was successful because our politicians took their eye off the ball, and because it was politically incorrect to target people for their actions, simply because the actions were driven by a single motive, but were being carried out by a people who largely looked and sounded the same.

Today we have much the same mindset, pushed by the same sort of people, but centered now on illegal immigration.

Just as not every Muslim is a terrorist, neither is every illegal immigrant a saint.

Could another 9/11 happen?

Sure it could.  All it takes is for us to take our eye off the ball, or to be swayed by the politics of the moment.

Maybe the left will win back the House, or both even both chambers, and they will abolish ICE, open the borders, and allow every illegal to vote.

Every one of the 9/11 hijackers got into the country because we let them in and didn’t monitor them when their visas expired

According to DHS, that exact scenario applies to at least 600,000 people today, many set up with stolen and phony ID, making them even harder to find.

Want to bet your life that none of those people wish us ill?
