Constitutional knowledge unnecessary?
What should you know about the Constitution? According to some South Carolina Democrats, nothing.
As this article explains, a update to a 1924 bill requiring university students to take a class on the history and meaning of the Constitution , the Federalist Papers and the Declaration of Independence would be too costly.
One could argue that knowledge of these documents should have already been taught in junior high or high school, particularly since some Democrats are now advocating for 16-year-olds to vote, but better late than never, as they say.
Try passing a citizenship test without any knowledge of the U.S. Constitution or other founding documents.
We do understand however. That damnable Constitution does so get in the way of converting to socialism.
Taking tongue out cheek for a minute, one of the problems we have now is that too many liberals and other assorted Democrats view the principles on which the nation was founded as useless.
